Chip Irvine

Artist Bio

Chip Irvine is a multimedia artist who has a multitude of diverse life experiences. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1972 and earned his M.F.A. in Digital Media from Towson University in 2011. Now an adjunct professor at Towson University, he has taught drawing, two-dimensional design, and digital media. Irvine works with digital photography, video, performance, poetry, installation, drawing, painting, and sculpture. His work is dynamic and diverse: some pieces are vibrant, capturing aesthetically pleasing images while some pieces show revolting and disturbing reflections of "reality". He aspires to reflect the sublime in every aspect of life.
